Remembrance

At every Divine Liturgy,
during the Great Entrance as the celebrant intones:
“May the Lord God remember in His Kingdom…
the noble and ever-to-be-remembered founders and
benefactors of this holy church…”

let us, in the silence of our hearts, pray for them.

These founders, immigrants of little means,
made great sacrifices to build a church and parish community
for themselves and future generations.

Here we are, more than 100 years later, benefiting from their efforts.
May we, with the grace of God, strive to continue
what these brave founders began…

May their memory be eternal…Vichnaya Pamyat’
